Hihi~ some of you know i went on yet another family trip from sunday and got back today (tuesday) this time round we went towards Bay of Island (and virtually went right passed it) went to the nice nice choclate factory Makana (yummy yummy yummy chocolate... *drools* stayed the night at Kerikeri, second day we went to the beginning of 90 miles beach and stayed the night at Omapere, and last day we drove all the way back to auckland along the west coast which is known as the kauri coast.. heheh anyway.. here are some fotos~~ and yes yes i WILL update about the ball once i got my hands on the fotos :D

Went to the famous restaurant next to the stone house at kerikeri. The atmosphere is great, and there was a really really hot waiter... *cough* moving on~ the beer emilys' drinking is called 'guiness' and according to dad it's the 'pride of Ireland', it's got a really smooth froth on top.. but the beer itself is..rather bitter to my taste :P

We had heaps and heaps of fun driving on the quad at Ahipara, i mean.. driving on the sand~ and that thign can go quite fast too. ^^ tho after about 45 mins of driving.. emily and i got off coz our eyes woudlht' stop tearing from all the wind :P

Arriving at Omapere, we took a walk at a scenic walk to see the great sand dune across the sea~~~ woudlnt' it be nice to play sand slide on that :D

We went and stayed at a Coptherone (i am sure the spelling is wrong again) motel in Omapere to make up for the not so pleasnat hotel we stayed at kerikeri the night earlier.. hehehe. the motel was relaly realy nice and clean. the services is great. the views are stunning, and so were the price :P

Hihi~ time to blog huh~~ oops.. haven't done that for an entire week... OOPS~ let's see what's happening

OH YEA.. i am going to the ball ^^ such a last minute thing~~ like on friday which was the deadline? everyone just suddenly decided to go the UMSA ball.. so i decided to go too.. heck i have a dress, have to make use of it before it becomes too small right? hehehe kidna excited.... suppose to starve myself to death this week so i look better in the dress... *sniff* FOOD

OH YEA~~ anyone interested in goign to UMSA ball, I have 1 ticket for sale.. you'll be sitting with US :D ie. xtine, henry, tina, danny and me and.. 2 or 3 unknown person.. hehehe so contact me ASAP if you want it ^^ itt'll be fun :D

Feeling slightly guilty about taking the day off.. i called in today and i asked if it's ok that i take saturday off, and this is my boss's reply "it's not really ok~ but if you can't come then you can't come" -_______- and my reply?? "ok" :P well~~ i can work half a day.. but i mean.. driving all the way to blockhouse bay for half a day of work?? the petrol prob cost more ^^: heheheh oh well~~ they can live without me for one day~

what else~~ that's about it i guess.... been thinking deep about stuff recently coz of the ppl around me~~ and this is my conclusion: life can be complicated huh? so complicated that i dont' wanna think what it'll be like when it's my turn... :S oh well~~ but for what it's worth~~~ i have to say i am not the greatest advice givers.. but i listen.. so if anyone wants someone to blah about things to, i am always here for you ppl ;)

*cough cough* i am calm~~ ok that was yesterday... but still... feel like a HUGE relieve... but back to serious stuff... test was okay~~ i am quite happy about the quesitons that came up EVEN THO i am sure i didnt' answer that well in it... dont' know... kinda.. had lost for words during that night.. *shrug* and frustrated that i didn't put the hemoglobin goes under CONFORMATIONAL changes ^^: grrrrr (wants to strangle myself). Apart from that..hm... can't say i am expectin high marks at all.. the thign about this test is.. it's so... short for a 30% test that i feel like my essays dont' deserve 25% ...oh well~~ whatever comes comes rite? just hope i dont' stuff up like last semester -_-

what else~~ oh yea~~ wagged foodsci to go to smith and coehey (ok can't spell) with emily today~~ despite all the SALES... i think i'll just stick with 'looking' :P only had an hour anyway... emily bought a fragranted glittery puff :P

oh yea~~~ danny met my parenst today :P hehehe totally by chance.. when we got home, parents were standign outside so.. yea.. he went down and said hi. LOL ok.. the conversation was short... basically he said hi and my dad and my mum thanked him for taking me home.. and my dad commented about how he's got a good car *shrug* what else can they say really~~ oh yea.. i dind't introduce him to dad as my bf so... heheheh was funny tho.. danny was all nervous.... it's not like dad knows yet~~~ :P

For the first time in my life i get to choose to celebrate chinese valentines... and instead.. i am sitting in front of my desk doing stupid lab report~~ why? becuase if i dont' finish this lab reprot tonight, i wont' have time to study for my test next monday~ it's not like i have the whole weekend to cram so i need my friday night to study~~ *sigh* reality is cruel~

So what's my honey doing? he's out playing pool with his friends.. and btw i am not complaining.. coz even if he's at home, i'll prob be too busy to give him decent replies like always, he's prob finding it boring just to waiting for a long time for my short replies that's normally meaningless anyway~~ so i say good on him! at least one of us is having fun~

So what's my darling sister doing? she's out partying somewhere in parnell, somethign about a marketing class party.... *jealous*

So this is how i am spending my stupid valentines, no prince charming at the door with a bouquet of flowers, no candlelight dinner, no star gazing.. just one lousy stupid lab report~~~ you know~ sometimes.. reality really sucks~

eeek what the heck, not like i ever cared about things like valentines etc etc... just stupid ways for chocolate factories to promote their chocolates anyway~ not like i like flowers anyway~ takes up so much room, and they die so fast that it's jsut a waste of money anyway~~ yea i know i romanticize too much about impraticals things.~~ =P

and just for the benefit of ppl who dont' knwo this alreayd... vitamin C is soluble, so cooking it in water leeches the vitamin C from the veges into the cookign water.... and back to my stupid lab report..... at least i learnt somethign today~

Had a reallly really good night at the orchestra festival finale night ^^ guess working hard and make sure i finish my essay and lab report nice and early was worth it. ^^

Went there with Angel and her entire family, they went there to cheer for Jerry i guess.. his last year. Got there and met Alex of course, wearing a special pink dress coz she's the soloist tonight. Though she keep complaining about how she can't breath in her dress whcih made me worry for a while~ ^____^ Saw Mr and Mrs Chan too.. oh and Chelsea.. alex's family with video camera and everything. ^^ Had a nice chat with Mr.Chan, according to him everythign in music school is a mess coz i wasn't there.. heheh ok i know he's just saying that, nice to think that i was once impt at a work place tho... (yes yes, i need a moral boost coz i am so useless at my new work =P ) OH yea.. Alan Keegan was there too ^^: who else... just the random orchestra ppl i guess....

There were 8 performances tonight... 4 top schools from the chamber and full orchestra category. St.Cuth had a really good chamber orchestra.. they played lord of the dances and after hearing that song.. i got home and downloaded it ^___^ still like the chamber orchestra version tho~~ oh yea.. Westlake conductor was helping the first desk to turn pages which i thought was.. interesting. ^^

From the orcehstra version... was SOOO happy that Rangitoto college played 'pirate of the carribean' among other choicese... i love that soundtrack, and it was certainly a bonus to hear a live orchestra playign it.

The main attraction of the night is of course alex's concerto. she played it well, i've playeed that song before so i am quite familiar with it (played it in HSM youth orchestra last year). It was certainly interesting to for once hear that song beign performed instead of playign in it. I must say i always thought bassoon sounds louder than that... heheh oh well~ no wonder when mum came to my concerts she always complain how pointless it is coz she can never hear me. =P AFter the concert alex was all shaken etc... the nerves. she think she played really bad.. and i did get hints from other player that it was alot better on thur.. but hey~ if i can't tell, doubt the audience can.. and honesty i think she played well. ^^

Oh yea... Macleans college got a GOLD award this year... a GOLD.. i've never gotten a gold... *jealous* heheheh anyway... if any of the readers is in macleans orchestra.. well done. ^___^

I am sick of workign all the time last night stayed up till... 1 or 2 finishing off my lab report... tonight i have an essay to write that's due on monday~ 800 words haven't done much at all~ and after when that's due in i have a chem lab report that's due on wed, and althought i haven't looked at it yet, i am sure i'll need to go to library to find txtbook to do it again. but i am sure all of you are sick of me complaining so i'll so right here.

Went to visit peter today. thought he'll be still at the hospital when we got there, but as it turned out he was discharged not too long before we got there. so when to visit him at his house... he looks a lot better than what i imagined he'll be liek.. i mean.. the way he described what they are gonna do in the surgery sounds really really scary~ but i mean.. he was standing up straight today.. and was able to walk however slow~ actually~ i think that was the first time i saw him standing up straight.. he's actually taller than i thought he is :P oh yea... didn't know they let you keep whatever they..er.. cut out of ur body.. so..er.. saw a bottle of blood with pieces of bones in there.... which suprisingly doens't look hard at all.. *shrug* anyway.. i am glad he's ok ^____^

oh yea.... i am suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a clumsy person... lost my lab coat @____@ isn't that shocking??? wednesday night at about 1am. . ok that's counted as thursday... i was pakcing my bag and what i saw stunned me.. my pink bag with my labcoat in it is missing @__@ and i had lab on thursday too.. so after mad txting (sorry to those who i might've woken up) i eventaully be able to borrow labcoat from marcy ^^ my LIFE SAVER *nod nod* oh and thanks to xtine who asked for me. ^^ since then visited lost property twice with no luck~~ :S if it's still not there by monday.. i guess it's time for a new one~~ oh well~~ might as well~ that labcoat was a bit big for me anyway. thanks to work i know exactly which ones to get now ;)... well.. kinda...

I am sad *nod nod* upset *nod nod* disappointed *nod nod* why you ask? BECAUSE I HAVE LAB TMR WHEN ALEX IS GONNA PERFORM A CONCERTO AS A SOLOIST AND I WANT TO GO AND HEAR IT :'( i really really really really really do~~~ see~~ if i have lectures during that time i woudl wag any day~~ but no~~~ i have to have a LAB, a LAB i CAN'T wag *cries* i really really really really really want to go but i just can't see a possible way for that to happen~ they are performing at 11:30 and my lab is from 10:00-1:00 and even IF i finish my lab early.. i wont' be that early.. esp foodsci labs are normally long *sigh* oh well~ guess can't always get what i want all the time~~.. all i wish now is that they get invited back for the finale concert so i can go and hear it.

anyway... blah~ better keep doing my piles of work...
