I don't wanna read about sludges~ why are they doign this to me? i just finished exams.... i dotn' wanna study... i dotn' want to know how quantify the flocation of wastewater reactors.... AH~~~ *screams* *dies* *dead*

supervisor supposely coming back tmr so i better finish this chapter before she does...

p.s. my biochem marks sucks. end of story.

hihi ppl~~~~ about time i blogged about my summer studentship thingy huh~~~. hehhehe so far it's been ok, my supervisor is away on conference so there's just Christie who's a technician teaching me all the lab techniques etc. A lot of which is like.. biosci204 labs coming back to haunt me, like.. streaking single colonies, cell and colony morphology. And there's the interesting stuff like, I learnt how to extract DNA from a cell, run PCR and agarose gel. Also got taught to add restriction enzyme etc etc... but really, it's all pretty easy, just reagents after reagents, centrifuge after centrifuge. yup yup.. what else... oh yes` I CAN FINALLY FIND THOSE STUPID STUPID BACTERIAS ON THE MICROSCOPE~~ on watermount that is.. i.e. no staining. Seriously, for hours and hours I stare into the microscope and all i see is my own eye lashes with occasional air bubbles ^^:

Good thing about this all is FREE COFFEE~~~ after hearing mike go on and on about free coffee, i finally get to taste it ^^ Espresso chocolate is nice~~~

Oh yea.. for ppl who don't know what i am doing... hm... basically there's a project funded by the government to improve the watertreatment plants, and they found that the most abundent microorganisms in the sludge comes in 2 forms, each which are good at specific point of the plant operation, and what I have to do is to kinda try to simulate the water treament plant on a lab scale bioreactor so that other ppl can use it to find out how different factors affects various point of the operation etc etc.

Anyway.... last week of living by myself... guess overall it sint' too bad, tho at night and early in the morning, the queitness kinda.. sinks on me... like.. wow... there's just like no one else around. but to be honest for the past week, coz of the studenship thing, havne't been at home for that long each day anyway.....

oh yea~~ emily decided to come back to NZ ^_____^ so I'll see her in a week, yay~~ *happy*

Anyway.. better go get ready for tmr... bye bye

is it just me or does everyone likes my frizzy hair except me?? hahaha oh well~ i hate it so there :P

Oh yea.. had another major nose bleed incident yesterday. Haven't had nose bleed for ages... but it was kinda scary... like the blood backflowed into my mouth and i kinda chocked on my own blood. yes quite disgusting i know.

Anyway, had sooo much fun at the girls night out at my house ^____^ omg~ it's sooo nice to catch up with everyone. and we cooked our own dinner too, there was a very vegetarian mushroom pasta, baked chicken nuggets and wedges, and salad. Hhehehe, thanks girls~ i had so much fun ^^ we shud do that more often


Anyway.. kinda like my last day of hoilday till christmas.. did all the thing i need to do but still feel like i just can't be bothered going to work. yes yes i am lazy... and since i only have few hours left i'll go and play some more on my ps2 ^___^
