Ok... that was interesting... the random ppl i met er.. within 1 hour, so after class went with xtine to find lecturer for something, then had a long chat with the lecturer about courses and stuff, walked out of her office and saw...
  • Sally putting little balls of things into this spiral glass plate. Apparently they were er... fibers that she'll gonan put into captules, and er.. it's good for the gut or something, then...
  • the other Lucy and her friend wanted to borrow Sally's computer to find out what they can or can't take as their electives, had a chat with them about that etc, and the guess who walked passed...
  • Bjorn from the micro lab from summer, he's gonna be a guest lecturer in micro paper i am doing, so had a brief talk with him about his phd project. After that decided i need to do my lab report.. walked to Ic lv3, and who do i bump into?
  • Irene from HSM random huh~~ apparently she stopped workign there too, and is on her last year biomed. hehehe And if all these random ppl i talked to today isn't enough, just now i saw...
  • Frank and Rebecca sat not too far away from my computer... hehe

So say i am antisocial eh~~ ;)

Heheheh here i am updating again. Yea suppose to be doign lab report but procrastinating since i don't have a glue to stick in my pre-lab :P shockign isn't it~

This semester is going to be really hard... it's funny... out of all the foodsci semesters.. i looked forward to this one the most, but when it eventually came.. it's like.. WOW so much work... bleh.. could have done chem240 or scigen instead of nutritional science.. but come on~ it's nutrition~~ it's bound to be interesting... and the consequence?
Look at timetable *dies*
look at assessments *dies*

Mum reckons if i use the time spent during breaks, like now for examples i shoudl be ok... I guess looking at it.. sure... i can pass... the point is if it's gonna affect my marks... i expect it to drop this semester.. i am.. i am prepared for it.. but i know if it drops right to the bottom i am screwed. Blah... gonna assess on thur if i shoudl keep working, by the look of things, think i shoudl quit. *sigh*

Made icecream in lab today ^___^ was really nice a milky, expected it to taste more like a mac soft serve, but it's a bit..er.. icier but it taste REALLY nice~~~ hehehe lecturer was all happy too i mean... it IS ice cream :P who can resist :P

Let me begin this post by expressing my current emotion
"man~ i am bored"

Yup... first day of uni.. got here at 7... had 8 am class. The class was ok... apart from few expected panic attacks hearing how I have to go through all those horror 3 hrs at least to compile notes from 3 different sources. Hoping nutritional science will be better. THen my expected 5 hours break is broken down after Candy told us we have a foodsci304 meeting at 10. speaking of which i better leave early to find where it is.

Was goign to gym today but... hm.... at 7:15 both danny and I agree to slack off for today :P
Was goign to be at city now buying a blow dryer and what not... but ...well.. will do that at 11 i suppose
Was going to sell my biochem textbook and then realize the textbook in my locker is the Bio101 one not 106
Relieved that due to new edition release, i haven't been able to sell my old micro textbook which is apparently still usable for 352

So... overall.... I am expecting an increase in the number of blog entries due to early mornings (easy to find computer) and breaks
And overall, i am expecting to sleep a lot earlier and finding a way to actuall do work at uni for a change. That'll be interesting woudln't it...

Oooo thanks to mommy for waking up bright and early to make me nice breakfast and lunch. ^____^

ok.. remember i went to my workmate's wedding like.. a while ago.. finally got my hands on the fotos.. so here it is.. back row :Bhama (my supervisor), me, Frankie and Eleen, front row the groom (who's name start with Z :P) and Priya~~ doesn't she look pretty? ;)

This couple is really really amazing, the groom is Muslim and the bride is Hindu, despite their different religious backgrounds and their parents are totally against it.. they still went ahead with it. In fact, Priya's parents didnt' even attend her weddign which was a bit sad.. but when you see love crossing the religion barrier.. it's so beautiful ^___^ anyway.. congrats to the couple and wishing them all the best for the future ;)

Us with the bride.. dot'n ask what was i doing :P

hi ppl~~~ see i do update once in a while

Went and saw pirate of the caribean starring captain jack sparrow (squeels) ok... if you haven't seen the movie and do plan on seeing... do not read the paragraph in red

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THe first half was good... adventurous and everything..... but towards the ending... i was thinking.. hey~~ this is dragging on a bit.. and then i realize why~~~ there is NO ENDING!! thats' right.. it's kinda like LOTR the first 2 where the ending just lead right on to the next~ I NEVER KNEW THEY WERE MAKIGN 3RD SEQUAL.. which is fine~ coz that means it's just more of captain jack sparrow :D heheh BUT i seriously hated when they end the movie like that ^^: rather rent both movies out and watch it both together. overall... good movie...except.. for the no ending :P

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what have I been to in the holidays you ask? ok finished full metal alchemist which i love.. the portray of brotherly love and the whole "equivalent trade" was brilliant. the anime however ends with a happy and yet not so happy ending, same goes for the movie. Tho kinda makes me wonder eh~~ what happens when ppl die? maybe i'll end up facing that door and end up being a Lucy double at the alchemist's world... wouldn't that be fun =D

Other than that... re-read Harry potter.. 3-6 again, this actually started during exams.. but my workmates are having this... Harry Potter craze... and we each now have a designated house... I am in Hufflepuff coz i refuse to be in the same house as Cho in Ravenclaw :P Currently reading Angels and Demons coz numerous ppl told me it's excellent.. and well.. wont' say anythign yet since i have few more chapters to chew through until i finish reading.

Games wise.. finished valkyrie's profile on normal mode... started again on hard mode (apparently you get good items) but got bored coz i have to go through this cave thing like.... 7 times to train... *sigh* finished 2 eras on DW5 empires.. and really .. empires is FUN~~~~ i like it a lot better than extreme~ you can plan your way and take over the entire map of china... muwahahaha

Ooo due to the winterly cold.. been eating so much it's not funny.. in fact i actually ... cooked a lot mroe than usual.. there's the peanut butter cupcake which doesn't taste peanut buttery, there's crepe, mushroom pasta, seafood pasta, just standard pastas with the white sauce.. nothign fancy.. Ooo and er... creme brulee/pudding/custard depends on how you want to call it.. personally i can't tell the diff.~ Speaking of which.. went to non-solo pizza and had a calzone pizza, man that thing is huge~~~ it's not too bad, personally i think their pizzas is a bit salty for my taste.. but their dessert is sooooooo nice~~ had a pannacota with rhubarb... it's the nicest thing~~~ wnat to learn how to make pannacota now~~ ^_____^ on the other note.. dotn' want to stand on the scale and weigh myself :P

Yes.. so i guess you could say my holidays have been very 'productive' (cough.. yea right~) but i love it... i dton' want uni to start.... i have a freaky timetable... dton' want to look at it :P

anwyay
Enjoy the last few days of your holidays ppl~~
and for those who isn't on holiday~~ just think at least you are spending your time more productively than Lucy for the past 2 weeks :D

You Are 26% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.
