so the damage to my bank account continues... having bought a skirt, a sweat pant, a pair of jandals and a board short.. ok techically danny paid for that... lol... seriously! i think i had enough shopping this holidays... speaking of this.. dress mart is SOOO good for bargain hunters!!! $10 for a skirt from Portmans?!?!?! hehehe me happy ^__^ and had 5 huge prawn balls at the vietnemese place today. ahhhhhhh soooo nice~~~

YAY~~~ holidays... i think i have NEVER been this happy to be on the holidays.. in the past 2 weeks i've been pushing my sleeping boundaries , worked and worked just to get things done! and here i am~~ on holiday~~ YAY~~~~ ok.. not really a holiday, have 1 essay + 2 lab reports to do but heck~~ as long as i dont' have to wake up at 5:50 in the morning? it's all good~~~

So i went shopping alreayd... at plaza and sylvia park.. speaking of which sylvia park is SUCH a cool shopping place~~ i mean.. it's got ALL the usual shop from botany AND st lukes.. plus extra ones.. that looks really fancy.. so were the prices :P lol.. $200 for a shirt... i dotn 'think so! going to dress mart tmr for MORE shopping... and just so ppl get an idea of how much 'retail therapy' i am goign through atm. bought 1 pair of pants, and 4 summer shirts.. lol.. i am sure the statistics will be higher tmr. hehehe

Here's a weird thing... everyone know that i got single eyelid thingy right? here's the thing.. on my left eye.. it's kinda got a 'internal' fold which occassionaly flips up to a double eyelid. Sometimes it happens in the morning, and will go away after half an hour... but this time... on fridya... it flipped up.. and it's still up.. and now I have double eyelid on my left eye and single eyelid on my right~ how weird is that~~~ AHHHH stupid eye!! flip back!!!!

Unemployed.. officially~~ there was a lot of hugging, a lot of junk food, got my huge card and presents, appropriately they gave me a peggy bank coz now that i am unemployed i'll need to save :P. Frankie draw me a really cool comic strip, if i have the time i might scan it and put it on my blog sometimes. It characterises lots of our workmates really well.

Things i'll miss about work...

• My super cool supervisor Bhama~ seriously, i have never had such a nice supervisor, she's no push over, but when she knows how to tell ppl when they are doing the wrong things. She's brilliant, if i ever become in a high position in the future, i'll definately want to be a cool supervisor like her

• Losh~~ why? coz whenever i have a quesiton, it's always "Losh~~ losh~~~" and she'll come and help me :p I am probabily the staff with the most questions... even today i was still like Losh~~~ what do i do with this.. etc :P
• Roneel's silly jokes and alway never-in-tune singing. And speaking of which he still owe me a cheese joke
• Frankie and Eleen, the are the ppl who were there with me from start, tho they are salmonellians, they are always fun to hang out with, and superly nice too. I dotn' know how often when we were putting up cheese way past lunch time coz we have to get it down, feeling stressed and upset, and they just walked over offer to help. And the friendship they offer is just tremendous. Ok i am really bad with things like this but i am really goign to miss those girls..
• All the gossips, and jokes we make, always seem to center around the two gentlemen, but nevertheless fun
• My random nicknames, Lucy Liu, Lucy Gumdrop, Lucy jelly, and when ppl get really lazy.. just Lu~ :P
  

Things i am not going to miss about work

• Veals in winter
• Superly hot temperature in subbing room during summer, and heat + environmental samples don't mix well at all
• The smell!! seirously the whole lab stunk
• Dumping samples, ok.. except during summer when it's really hot, then goign to the dumping/rubbish room is great, coz it's got really cold air con on, but sometimes.. the bin leaks.. and we have to take off teh shoe cover when dumping.. that's when i start having a lab shoe just for work :P
• Doing meats!! seriously.. the knife is so blunt -___- no matter how long you stand there sharpening it, it's always too blunt for meat, specially the veals
• Full time ppl who comes occassiaonly on saturdays and tell us off whenever we stop for a bit to catch breath
• and lastly, superly long hours and cramp on my calf i get on sat night/sundays from standing up for too long. And occasionally back pains too

I am seriously going to miss work, ok.. mabye just the ppl~~ but i am sure it'll feel weird to have 2 day weekends again.... after....4 and half years

Anyway what is done is done... it's good to know that at least... in the future when i can't find any job.. i can always go back. ^^
