Lol.. gee u guys~ stop yelling, i am updating already :P oh~~ i had my last shot of injection for Meningcocoal or something yesterday.. had the old bitchy nurse this time round =S btw.. is it just or have they stop 'disinfect' the needle entry point before the injection? like i remember everytime i had injections, they always wipe the entry point with cotton before injecting the needle.. but they haven't done that for my series of menigcocoal ones.. hm... or maybe i just go bad nurses??? dont' know.. but the one before was really really nice... not like this old stupid lady... =( oh well~~ at least that's the end of injections for me.. YEAH~~~ tho my arm hurts... oh well~~
Oh yes~~I remember one of peter's friend was looking for a formula to make invisible ink.. hehehe.. and since i found it... i thought i'll be nice and post it up... ok.. stop staring at me like i am geek.. it's not like i figure this all out.. i read it from a chem book.... (ok this is going to make me sound like a geek anyway) but make no mistakes.. mum got the book from one of her friends.. and she said it's really interesting and tell me to read it... and to be honest.. i am really reading it mindlessly.. coz all the chem reactions in the book are...er... uncomprehenable by me.. hehehe
ANYWAY
invisible inks (note since the book is in chinese, i can only give the short hand chem formula as given in the book.. hm.. doesnt' tell me much..but it mite tell u guys something *shrug*
1) mixing (HO)3C6H2COOH with FeCl3 will create a water soluble product that's dark blue, and when adding C6H8O7 (lemon acid), it'll disintegrate into it's seperate compound and thus be invisible
2) use phenolphthalein (colourless) and spray NH3 on the writing it'll turn pink/purple.. hehehe every chemist shoudl know this one
3)write with Pb(NO3)2 (colourless) and by spraying Na2S will produce PbS which is a blakc solid
4) Fe2(SO4)3 + K4[Fe(CN)4]6 are both colourless chemicals but upon mixing produces a blue colour chem Fe4[Fe(CN)6]3
ok.. those are the 4 that's in a book.. unfortunate there's non that can produces colour just upon contact with water which was what peter's friend was looking for.. i think... (can't remember) anyway... hehehe if any of you are geeky enough to figure out all the chem reactions above.. hm.. congrats... coz i can't do it :P
ok.. enough blah~ going to kill that monster jeff was telling me about last night... already got killed once... :'( wish me luck~~ hope u ppl are having fun~
P.S. my artistic couz in America is graduating in few days.. and as part of his graduation he has to complete a webpage with his work.. so check it out guys.. hehehehe some of it is really pretty.. ohter are.. well.. artistic.. lol
