Ooo forgot the mention something about 101, according to my uncle (who works in the building/architectural industry or something) he said the a special feature about 101 is the each support pole can be taken down individually to be replaced. So say if one of the floors was on fire, and they distinguished it in time, they have a way of testing each pole, and replace the ones that needed replacement. Oh~~ and he also said normally big buildings like that, the structural poles have a 1 hr fire prove layer, whereas say nuclear powerplant, their structural poles requires 3 hr fire prove at least... Oooo and the fire prove layer is somethign that when heated, it expands and thus create a insulated layer to protect the pole. Hehehe i never knew buildings coudl be so interesting.. lol.. oh~~ and the shape of 101 (that according to someone looks like a old temple) supposely imitates bamboos, and silver thing on it (if u could see them) suppose to have some chinese significance.. lol
