Hihi... finished off the last lab today~~~ yay~~~ well.. not yay~~ 10% thing i did today, not sure how well i did it.. well the streak plates and the slides were not bad! but the write up? dont' know~ felt like i was.. blahing alot ^^: oh well~~~ even those the last 2 labs looking at MOVING microbs was kinda fun.. i am glad lab for this paper is OVER!!!! really!!! fingers cross that i'll pass this paper, DONT' LIKE IT AT ALL!!! and if all the bio papers are gonna be like this one... hm... i guess i'll be looking forward to my chem papers more now ^^: *sigh*

A bit reliefed talkign to ppl from lab on how they are gonna study, most of them are just gonna learn the lecture slides and from the coursebook, i.e. ignore the txtbook completely! which is fair enough.. considering it's 4 sides of notes per lecture minimum!!! and honestly!! i've been reading the txtbook and it's USELESS!!! COMPLETELY USELESS!!! i dont' know HOW gillian expects us to LEARN anythign EXTRA form the txtbooks coz.. as far as i can see! it's..hm.... impossible ^^: either way i have SOOOO much to study for... saw tina at ic started cramming alreayd.. feeling a bit guilty that i havent' started at all :( must start soon or else!!!!!

ANYWAY!! got this stupid cold from emily! ok... it's not too bad now, i mean... minimal symptoms.. just a very very sore throat that lasted for..er... a good 5 days now!!! -___- oh well~~ hope it gets better *nod nod* at least it's not bothering too much atm!!

Hm.... was just reading my old geocities site.... OMG! i used to be so much better at writing -____- what's happengin with my writing skills??? *shrug* don't know... was readign what i wrote about my profile at 6th form.. and u know what... i don't think after all these time i've become a better person, if not worse :( *shrug* speaking of which maybe i shud put what i wrote about my family up here sometimes... before geocities deleted my site ^^: i am really really really lucky to be surrounded by ppl who loves me, i shoudl be more appreciative about them and life in usual, i am lucky than most, i shall not let silly little things make me depressed.

Thing about me is when i am depressed, i kinda think that i am really misunderstood and no one is there to help me and blah blah blah... like.. it takes me a while to even think about talking about it to other ppl, and normally by the time i do.. i feel better already?? *shrug* i am a weird person i know. Heard it somewhere that 1/7 ppl gets depression and they are mostly girls... i honsetly beginning to think if i don't do somethign about me copign with stress i'll be one of those statistics!!! *trying to be happy*

Hihi.. had a very very interesting day at work today... after procrastinating for 4 months.. finally started doing meat samples , testing for E.coli 0157.
Reasons for procrastinating:
a)it's annoying, not hard! just annoying
b)apparently E.coli is a lot 'deadlier' than listeria.. apparently a lady got infected with it before and was hosiptalised for a month -____- uh huh~ oh~~ and normally they found more E.coli contaminated samples than Listeria ones.
Anyway, after 15 boxes of E.coli samples, i have come conclusion that... cutting up raw meat with a questionable knife is.. difficult ^^;
After a day of work, my fingers are dead from breaking stupid hard cheese + trying to cut up raw meat. and my arms are dead from.. collecting medias + pushing a full tray of it -____- oh well~~~ i guess it's good in the long term that i am gaining muscles *nod nod* muwahahaha

We went to wendy's for lunch today... and.. GUESS WHO I SAW!! ok.. nto like u ppl kno wthem anyway ^^: katherine and brent, the 2 percussion teachers used to teach at HSM!!! omg!! isn't it so weird to.. see ppl from your old workplace when you are on lunch break?? and note, it was the wendy's at blockhouse bay @___@ what were they doign so far away??? Anyway.. apparently brent quit the job last year as well, he's at wellington this year.... prob doing the same thign as joy??? *shrug* anyway~~ random random random place and time to bump into them ;)

Hihi~~~ *waves* yup yup.. got FUNGAL growth on my plate *nod nod* yay~~~ actually, think if i didn't left it out for 2 extra hours i woudl've still gotten some growth *shrug* anyway.. got mainly moulds... very uncolourful ^^: like my lab partner got a huge red/orange one *envies*, the girl next to me left hers for 2 weeks instead of 1 and got a...er.. overload with growth, her plate was completely covered with fungy!!heheheh she looks so embarrassed, but then everyone coudl tell that it's coz of time ^^: Anyway, today's lab is a looooooong lab and yet i finished early ^^ *proud* all thanks to xtine for warning me it's long so i did the parts that i coudl before hand. hehehehe finished 25 mins early ^_____^ Oooo Oooo today we were lookign at biofilms, and we were looking at slides that's been soaked in seawater for a period of time under the microscope under dark field thing. and here i was expecting to see a carpet of bacterai when i saw a relatively huge thing that's moving ^_____^ I SAW A LIFE PROTAZOA (that's apparently a water sac or soemthing) UNDER THE MICROSCOPE!! IT WAS RUNNING AROUND + DRINKING/WATER. and i knwo that coz i coudl see water going in and coming out of it ^^: in fact the thign looks really transparent. after my little discovery, i was overly enthusiastic and decided to get my whole bench to look at my microscope, the demonstrator got curious and came looked at it too. Think she gave me a weird look for my..er.. random enthusiasm.. tho after that everytime i put my hands up she came and help me.. she even let me 'steal' on eof the empty benche's nutrient plate so that i get 2 chances to obtain a pure culture for my assingment.

Ooooooo while waiting for emily to finish class today, danny took me to movenpick and had ice cream *nod nod* so i am all hyped up now ^^: but it's ok... my hyperactiveness will evaporate in the next few minutes when i have to get out my bio notes and start making notes ^^: On a good note, on friday we get Dr. Dave Saul ^______^ loved his lectures last year, heheh hopefully this years is as good as last years ;)

On Tuesday, met up with Mike + Dan for Daikoku ramen ^___^ yum~~ can't believe Mike has been in uni for all these years and had never had nice ramen -___- oh well, afterwards we walked to auckland hospital to visit jeff and his mum, i can't imagine how i'll be like if one of my parents were in the hospital :S Jeff seemed to be handling it well, anyway, heard her mum was well enough to leave the hospital today, so it's all good ^__^

Had a nice look at Mike's thick thick thesis with pretty coloured pictures of..er... cells?? i dton' know... from what Mike and Dan are saying, kinda scared about doing honours now... that is IF i get the grades to do it in the first place -____- yes i need to work harder *nod nod*

WEdnesday, science graduation.. met up with Yeau before her ceremony to take a pic.. hehehe Yeau is my workmate whoe helped me out a lot when i started working ^____^ she's really nice.. too bad she was just about to enter the town hall so didn't had much time to er... talk with her???? and hwere's that foto i took gone?? oh well~~ not that i look nice in that foto since i was powerwalkign down to town hall coz i was late and my face would've been redder than the red-face ron =P

Also met up with Sherry + Anne on wed, haven't seen both of them for ages... Sherry was on a high, either coz she was happy to see us, or she was bewildered at the 7 episodes of naruto i just burnt her :P hehhe ok.. she's always hyper what am i on about ;) but i was funny, we were sitting outside ic lv0, and was amazed to see all these rutherford ppl walked passed, Alicia, Sarah, Frank, Ben, within... 1 hour??? lol bring back so many college memories,... prompted me to organise somethign every wed *nod nod* LEN AND TINA!! U BETTER BE FREE NEXT WED!!!!

Saw Naruto movie yesterday ^^ hehehe yup yup Danny burn one for me... wasn't as good as i expected, but then my point of view is a bit biased coz i wasn't too happy that Shikamaru wasn't in there AT ALL!!! :'( where's my shika! in fact.. he's not in any of rhte anime/manga episodes recently :S oh well~~ ANYWAY~~~ and while talkign to Len last night.. she dished out the main plot out of me.. hehehe oops.. if she didn't enjoy the movie..er..er.. it' snot my fault *hides* ^^
