At work yesterday, I found out my workmate is engaged, she was showing us her diamond ring... but wait till you hear how her bf proposed... wow~~
First she left work early that day coz she had her cousin's wedding thing to go to, one of those religious thing, and her bf and friends txt her tell her to ditch the wedding and all of them were gonna dressed up to go to a really posh restaurant as a one off thing. So she got dressed up, picked up one of her best friend and she got a txt from her bf saying that he'll be late since he had to pick up one of his friend etc. And soon after that.. the friend her bf was suppose to pick up walked our from a limo and tell her to get in. And there she was riding on the limo for an hour with friends and the limo finally arrived at sky city entrance where she saw his other friends at the door and took her to one of the room, think was on 22nd floor or somethign, and left her tell her to 'follow the candlelight' and when she enters the room, there was a aisle of candles with rose pedals all over, with her fav music playign on the background and when she was looking at the view from the window, her bf walked from behind and proposed.. omg~~ how romantic. She said she've always promised that when she got proposed she'll never gonna do the 'omg omg' thing.. but taht's exactly what she did.. and you know.. as she was telling me all these, she had the happiest smile on her face.. i guess anyone would. And as she end with her story, she gave me advice " you know he's worth it when he makes all your dreams come true"
Well, i am really happy for her, she's a really really nice person , she deserves all that.. just kinda sad that it means she might not be able to work next year etc.. oh well~~
Tho it did makes me think of things.. see, i never thought these kinda of romantic still exists in the real world.. i mean.. in movies sure.. but in reality? how often do you come across a guy who'll do that kinda thing? *shrug*
Anwyay... yesterday night there's macleans' leavers concert, i went there to visit alex coz it's her birthday yesterday, didn't go to listen tho.. not htat i know many ppl left anwyay.. The first person i saw when i walked into music suite was her sister chalsea. and omg~ she's grown.. haven't seen her for about a year. but anyway.. so she directed me to where alex is.. and as soon as i enter the door.. alex was er.. playign this piece composed by jared coz apparently the marker who marked it think it takes a very virtuist bassoonist to play that piece.. so alex what to see how 'good' she is :P heheh anwyay.. it was nice to catch up with my lil sis ^^ seh seemed to be very excited about going to uni next year.. perhaps she have reason to leave.. or perhaps she have reason to look forward to.. either way i wish her the best ^^ and i can't wait to have breaks with her :D gosh i miss her~~
Btw.. almost forgotten how noisy the music suite is during concerts :P guess thats one part of my life that will never come back again. But i am just glad that i was there once ^^ playign my little part in an orchestra. ^__^

Exam study is a weird time.. weirdest thoughts pop into my head .. and this time round when i think about next year, think about the ppl who are close to me now may moved on with their lives, start somethign new, and i'll be left behind... and i don't want to be.
Danny:"there comes a time where ppl leave, it's just the way life is." but i dotn' want to be dispersed!! i like the ppl around me, I want them to stay forever... but i guess at the end of the day.. what mum says sums it up.

*happy* just finished downloading final fantasy piano collection which includes various piece from ff 8-10. Heheheh it sounds soooo amazing ^____^ and since this is the piano collection, it's bascially songs from the game but with arrangements so it sounds like.. a proper song *(i.e. not like those ones that are supposely to be play repeatedly). heheheh so far only heard 2 songs.. but it sounds good~~*happy*
Anyway.. want to uni today to hand in my foodsci assingmetn.. bumped into amy and charles just next to the bus stop :P hehehe and here i thought i was there early :p ANYWAY~ emily saw an add for a sale for a shoe shop so we went to visit there, disappointingly didn't see anythign i like... oh well~ after that i had about and hour before the bus comes... so i went and at lunch at atrium and shopped around. I think that's the first time this year i actually shopped by myself.. almost forgot how it felt. Wasn't used to it at first.. but then the sense of freedom flowing back to me. Walking aimlessly on queen street, going anywhere i chooses to. Call me antisocial~ but there's something about having a period of time where I live for myself~ dotn' need to try and impress anyone, dont' need to try and make a convo. So i ended up going to whitcoulls for..er... 20 mins? since i've been shopping a lot.. been to most of the clothign shops etc... was gonna find a nice non fic book to read for once but didn't find anythign so ended up buying a pen since my last one seem to be running out fast~~ then i walked to britomart and had a coffee. Britomart is as beautiful as i last remembered it~~ i missed that place~ so there i was~ with my mochachino sitting at my fav place watchign ppl walk pass. ^____^ i missed that~~
Anyway.. now that my moment of independence is over~ it's time to dig out my notes and make more notes~~~

I think i'll blog about somethign else before my tagboard runs wild :P Hm... did somethign stupid today.. tried to make 2 ppl i love very much happy and ended up making all 3 of us (including myself) mad at me ^^: yes yes that was very stupid indeed... mum's advice for the day: If you can't make everyone happy, stick to the one that's more important due to circumstances etc having 1 person unhappy is better than 3 ppl unhappy.~~
Anyway.,. exams coming up... and i am soooo behind in notes... oh well~~~~ at least i have a field trip to look forward to this thur.. going to tip top ^______________^

Went to bra shopping at farmers with mum today. And as we were browsing, mum pointed to me a full rack of bras that says 'girl's bra' and telling me these should be comfortable etc, and then the lady who works there took one looked at me and recommended one of those unpadded bras and say 'these are really good bras for girls, it's a good starter bra, many girls start on these ones' @_________@ OMG~~~ how old does she think i am?!?!?!?! S...T...A...R...T...I...N...G?!?!?!?! after that i was really speechless.....
shud i be glad that i look like a 13 years old or shud i be embarrassed that i look like a little girl goign for bra shopping for the first time -_____-

HIHI~~ ~ok ok.. i need to update more... seriously~~
I will start this post by..er.. complaining about my workmate *nod nod* there's a new girl from china.. ok.. not that new.. about.. 3 weeks now? she used to work in general micro department and got moved into ours. And ok.. at work when we put up the samples.. there's a person who books it in and the rest of us will put up the samples. i.e. weighing and pour in the media etc etc... and there are samples that are more annoying than other... one is convenient meals because usual you need to composite about 5 packet in 1 sample.. and for each packet you need like.. a bit of everythign from the meal.. i.e. you need to get the carrot and meat and potato or whatever from each meal and for those we keep the samples as well so we need to tape it after we got our samples. and the other annoying one is butter becuase it has to be melted before we do anythign else... OK so on sat morning.. she was workign on her trolley and me and my other workmate was workign on another.. and she just suddently left (we assumed she went to the other lab to help the other new girl) and when we checked her trolley.. she 'convenient' left all the butter and convenient meals undone @#$%#@$%#$@#$ and most importantly it's not the first time!! she always does that!!! and she have a tendency to leave work early while we clean up and set up stuff for the next day etc...!!!!!!
On a lighter note Danny and Simon (Emily's bf) met my parents last night. hehehe Danny was so nervous for like... 4 days it was almost hillarious to watch ;) never seen him so nervous... like.. he ttalks twice as fast as normal and he'll just keep on talking and talkign and talking non stop.. hehehe was funny.. In fact the only time he talked normal on monday was during the3 hours he saw mum and dad :P Anyway.. dinner was ok.. had it at La Mama, actually i think everyone thought the food sucked except me... i liked my pork steak... well it wasn't bad.. ANYWAY... the night went ok.. there were awkward silences here and there, but i mean.. it went well... HEHEHE so i can officially say both of my parents now know that danny exists :P
Ok.. foodsci lectures is having really bad influences on me.. the other day we had lecture on meats.. and since then i had cravings for steak and the second day we went to tony's to have a steak lunch :P and just today we had a lecture on icecream and after uni we went to have icecream sundae -_____- honeslty haven't had sundae for years coz always thought it's kinda fatty... so feelign really guilty about it :P and i am 'supposely' on a diet too :P heheh oh well~~ gonna eat healtheir from tmr onwards *nod nod*

And for that reason.. but nicely planned summer holiday of a family trip goign back to tw and paris is pretty much no longer applicable.. heheh looks like another busy busy summer for me... for a starter have to work 6 days a week pretty much straight after the exams... but i guess it'll be okay~~ hehehe since slowpoke will be working in the city too ^____^ but yea.. parents and emily are still all going to go back and i'll be here all by myself for about 3 weeks.. initially i was like.. YEA!!! PARTY TIME!!! but then realizing working 6 days a week doens't exactly give me a lot of time to play around.. so i'll see ;) but i am definately dying to have a sleepover... ah~~ haven't had one of those at my house for AGES!!! heheh and parents will be back at beginning of dec anyway...... oh yea.. can't till feb when this is all over and i'll have nice few weeks of nice holiday :D
