Holidays ended *sniff* i guess good times always flies huh~ but no complaints from me, because I really had a wonderful wonderful holiday.
Start off is of course my trip back to Auckland, and i am glad to say things are.. well... pretty much the same as when i left it. My week was jammed packed with shopping, excellent food and most importantly, the companiment of family and friends. ^^ see my schedule for the week and you'll see why
Friday: arrived at auckland at about 2pm, unpacked, went to neighbours for dinner with Danny, went home and wathed tv.Saturday: Went to Sylvia park with the tour group ;) we even had er... a red balloon representing Mindy's spirit flying all the way from Australia :P Syliva park was insanely packed with ppl, with stage 3 just opened and all, but i got to say Sylvia park does now look enormous, walking from one end to the other can take a very long long time @_@
Sunday: had a cheesecake baking session at Tina's, regretably due to er... Lucy buyign the wrong brand of cream cheese, it looked, more burnt than usual. So we ate the top burnt part of the cheesecake while it was cooling. All i can say is.. by the time we can home from lunch, our cheesecake had resorted to an ugly cheesecake, which thankfully still tasted divine~Monday: Easter monday that was, went shopping with Emily and mum at Botany, at night invited few girls over at my house to have a goood catch up session.
Tuesday: was my 22nd, i got to say I was WAYY to excited about goign back to Auckland that didn't feel like I had much of a birthday. So dedicated the whole day spending time with Mum and Emily. Mum took us to Kura, and had one of the nicest japanese food... yummy~~ My cake was really nice too, we bought a Hazelnut cake from Classics, would've bought one from Rio, but they didn't had a very good cake collection when we went shopping. THe hazelnute cake isn't too bad at all, tho no hazelnut was actulaly there, only nutella :PWednesday: was allocated to Danny, as our belated celebration of our 2 years. The day kicked off shopping at Dressmart which i must say was very productive. And knowing us er, super fast shoppers, we went to sylvai park for shopping round two. Didn't buy much tho, and I think we spend the most time at DickSmith the powerhouse.. *cough cough* Dinner was at observatory, and Len and Tina was absolutely right in saying how nice the food was. It was by far the best buffet i've ever been to, only downside is Danny coudln't eat half the stuff so i felt really guilty.
Thursday: Hm.. as if i hadn't shop enough ^^: went to Sylvia park in the morning with Len, who was wonderful and shouted me lunch. ^^ then we had a really good shopping session, let's just say when i go shopping with Len, i'll go to shops that i dont' normally go into, and find amazing items. ^^ Had a birthday dinner thign with the girls ^^ which was really nice. In fact, it's one of the best steak i had for ages, they actually gave me a thick chunk of meat. And the orange cake from Christine and Amy was really nice. ^^ thanks girlsFriday: well.. was my last day so was filled with packing, then at night Emily decided she want to check out Sylvia park too, so we did :P
Saturday: Left for Auckland :(
So there you have it, I bet i've been to Sylvia park way more times than any of you ppl (with the exception of Amy) :P Thank you everyone for making an effort to meet up, I know everyone is like superly busy, and I was really touched to be able to catch up with all of you. My trip back to Auckland was everythign i dreamt it'll be and more. Thanks heaps ^____^
and..seeing the washign machine was done, me gonna take a shower, and holiday part 2 will be updated.. sometimes.. possibly tomorrow :P
p.s To Amy and Christine, you wont' be surprised to hear this, but i am almost out of survival lollies already :P
