Strange Stuff
So the other day, I went to the morning market and saw this ....
A Very Very PURPLY cauliflower.... I just couldn't resist to buy it and try what it's like. I picked this up for $1 too! what a bargain!
So.... I massacred the cauliflower, to make myself a nice stir fry with chicken.
And dinner was served.! And I am sure you are all dying to know what it tasted like. It's kinda a cross between a broccoli and a cauliflower, but a bit tough. I guess I didn't stir-fry it for long enough. But this meal have taught me a very important lesson! What ppl say about you eat with your eyes? TOTALLY true! THe cauliflower was just normal tasting, but by the end, I was gettign an overdoes of all the purply bits, especially when you associate purple like that with poison, it did make it hard to swallow towards the end.
To my amusement, the purple colour intensified during the cooking process, and what I was left with was a very purply cauliflower indeed.
So I've learned, and made tomato pasta with it. the redness really mask the colour well. But the trouble is.. what shoudl I do with the rest 1/3 of the cauliflower... hm.....
