ok~~ i've never failed an important exam/test in my life.. and i almost failed one today... phew~~ it was so close it's not funny... sat my full today... ok.. before the test i went to both routes and well ppl always say Dannemora is the easier route EXCEPT that there's construction sign on chapel road.. which means I have to drive at 30 when everyone else is driving at 80... hm... i think all drivers know the pressure of a huge line of cars behind you... ANYWAY.. just my luck i got the Dannemora route.. OMG~~ the examiner is so MEAN!! part 2 of the test is the bit where i'll make a turn and i have to remember all the moving hazards.... and i think we did that like 4 times, and the first 2 times there was like NOTHING!!! NOTHIGN ON THE ROAD!!! and the examiner was like..
"was there ANYTHING behind you??"
"no... i didn't see anything"
"are you sure?? did you check ur back mirrors"
"er.. i am pretty sure i did"
"ok~ if u say u didn't see anythign then u didn't" and he started writing -___-
and the 2nd time he DID IT AGAIN!!! argh~~ by the 4th time i was so convinced that he was just playing with me i just went.. yea.. there was no car! arr...
Anyway.. that's not the reason y i almost failed... hm... as i said.. the 30 thing... did you know that.. apparently just coz there's a 'work ends here' sign doesn't mean the speed limit goes back to 80?? well.. if u did.. i didn't -___- i mean.. after i drove to the end at the roundabout and U turned back he was like.. ok.. stop by the side.. and he 'explained' how much i speed... ok.. i honeslty didn't know.. and this morning when i practiced it with my driving instructor.. he told me i coudl speed after the work end sign....aargh~~ ok.. from the work ends sign to the next speed limit sign was a few good hundreds meters... with lots of narrow lanes (i.e. ppl can't pass me) etc.. surely.. he can't.. expect us to... drive at 30?!?!?! well i guess it's the part of the road code and i can't do anythign about it.. on the way back it was.. a grim drive.. coz i thought i failed. but then he still let me passed ^^ he said my first 2 parts were good so he'll let me pass given that i'll never forget about the speed thing.. (really~~ as if i woudl really drive at 30 not in test condition, i'll be slaughtered by the cars behind -___-)
Interesting note.. hehehe ok on the way back.. there was a... peacock crossing the road *focl* omg~~ what are the chances of seeing a peacock in the middle of the road... DURING a driving test.. lol... and then we started talking about peacocks... hahaha did you know that peacocks fly?? and they nest in trees at night??? :O didn't know that~~ so yea~~ maybe the peacocks put him in a better mood or whatever, i am just thankful that i passed ^_____^ no more driving tests EVER... YAY~~~~ no more worrying about gettign caught by carryign passengers.. YAY~~~
Now that i got that out of the way~ i can tell you about yesterday.. i had to pretend to be Kathy and cancel her electricity bill thing.. hahahah i had her details and stuff with me, but when the lady as me when my birthday was i was like..... er.....er.... i.. dont' know... LOL yea.. blown my cover off right there. so yea.. i had to explain to there that was doign it on behalf of Kathy. Turn out that she can just email them.. thank goodness. hahah i would suck as a spy. :P
ANyway.. first day at work tomorrow.. wish me luck.. kinda worried that i'll be all alone and stuff.. coz casuals only works on weekdays.. so tomorrow there shoudl be all those full time staff which means they'll be a lot older than me??? argh~ worry about that tomorrow..
In the mean time.. If you are a strong man, or you konw any strong man who is interested in earning quick bucks and free this friday, let me know!! We are moving our garden shed from one side to another... like only 8 meters tops.. and we need 8 ppl to carry it (ok.. the guy actually said 4~6, but dad is hiring 8 just in case) so yea~~ i think atm we still need... 6 ppl.. heheh and my dad is paying $25 each!! and the job won't last longer than 30mins... really fast job.. good money ^^ let me know if anyone is interested ^^
