Ok.. i guess i better update this now.. even tho i really shoudl be assignmenting/studying.. lol, i know someone's been waiting for me to update about sat night... :P
BUt before that... working 3 days in a row... is tiring... i mean the hours are unbelievable long, and having to stand up all the time is a killer.. now i finally understand y emily complained about that when she just started working... on a good note.. since i worked like for 24 hours in total for these 3 days, i earned like $200. ^^ yay~~
Getting a glimpse of the whole process now... kinda... I think the guy who i was replacing used to do lots of streaking as his job.. so Malini (my supervisor) just want me to concentrate on streaking atm... which is fine~ coz it's a lot simplier than what goes on in the filling room(where samples go and get put into little bags/containers and put in to enrichment etc... i mean yesterday this girl was trying to do that to those healthy choice microwave dinner thing...looks difficult) The bad thing about doing streaking all day is that, by afternoon, i am like the only person in the room, and the room is SOOOO warm ><>
Anyway i was suppose to go to work today, but i cancelled it coz.. there was just no way i coudl finish my assignemnt + studyign if i did... was supose to do assignemtn on friday, but then they had guest over, and as a 'daughter' i am obligated to 'help' until the guest leaves.. which just killed the whole night of work *sign* i doubt they'll be very happy about it... yea.. it' my fault, i shodul've planned my working schedule a bit better, but then given the circumstances.. i had to ask for leave today.. so yea.... *shrug*
But hey~~ i had fun this weekend.. the sleepover i've been blahing about for the past month finally occured :P it seems like we've been planning it for ages and ages.. but come to think about it.. our 'plan' was simply to go there at like 5 or somethign, mindy will bring ps2 console and i'll bring the games, and that mindy's gonna cook dinner and we are goign to supermarket to shop for food.... i mean.. that's not a lot of actual planning, but took us ages to.. i guess a lot of the planning goes to convincing mike to come :P still dont' know how jeff did it... when i was doing the convincing mike was "oh~~ i don't know... no promises etc" and as soon as jeff step in he was "i woudl like to go, but i am not sure etc" i guess the guys have their way huh~ =P
Anyway so after work on Sat, i drove straight to jeff's... his house is Sooooooooo close to work it's no fair :'( took me like.. 15 mins to get there... not fair.... Anyway, got there about 6:30, Mike was already there watching naruto 119 with jeff on his laptop (which by that time he has already watch like 5 times.. lol and keep telling us to sit down and watch it =P) Mindy came at about 7:00, and off we go to the supermarket, Mike got excited over the fact that i 'drove' to Jeff's house, and wanted me to do the driving -____- good thing Jeff's house was like... 5 min from the supermarket, and i think most of the time i was driving within a mall type thing.. hahaha great way to show of my driving skills eh ;) Bought like a whole trolley of groceries.. and by the time we got back it was 7:30, so Mindy started doing the chicken and roast veges, but that woudl take like 2 hours, so Mike was goign to do his pasta later on, mean while Jeff made this egg + leek+ mushroom stir-fry... it's actually really nice~ i never knew you could cook leek that way... It's very interesting to see someone coudl just plan up a dish just like that....
Anwyay.. meanwhile we wait.. i think we did some ps2-ing, ddr-ing. and then it's dinner time. ^^ which by then it was close to 10pm.. lol and we had WAY~~ more than enough -___- i was sooooo full by the end of it i coudl hardly move =P but the pasta was really nice~~ and the roast chicken and roast veges were just amazing.. i mean it was perfectly cooked, but at the same time maintained it's moisture, yum yum ^^ mindy sure knows her craft ^^ After dinner.. Mike started playing Soul Calibur.. hehehe it's so cool, he unlocked heaps of stuff for me ;) meanwhile i was doing the dishes (note i made no contribution to cooking. lol) Mindy was playing with her new fone.. hahaha she's so addicted to those games, Mike was showing Jeff all these moves with female characters, like when they cross their legs at certain angle and stuff... -___- you shoudl've seen their faces.. they were.... dazzled, stunned, LOL~~ guys -__-
Think we did more ps2-ing, and thne Mike said he has to leave... and somewhere between he said he was gonna leave (at around midnight) to the time he actually left (3am) he had this long long discussion with Jeff on Naruto in the kitchen, while me and Mindy chat about.. random stuff, u know.. girl talk hehehe
At around 2 something, still unbelievably full from our huge dinner, we started attacking those snacks :P Mike eventaully left at about 3, even tho we were convinced that leaving at 5 and 3 wouldn't have made a difference. AFter that i think I was playing mystic heros with jeff while mindy plays her fone and drift to sleep :P at about 5:30 we all went to sleep...
woke up at 10am coz... Jeff's radio thing just went off.. it was funny, coz it started singing cantonese... hahah took me a while to find the radio and turned it off... and went back to sleep.. very soon mum called (and 'someone' had change my ringtone to the wedding march... arrrr) i told her i'll try to make it home for lunch, and then at 10:30 my alarm went off.. and start folding my sleeping bag... Jeff came downstairs soon after, and mindy got woken up while i was pakcing my sleeping bag.. and then we just lie in the living room.. talking for like what seem to be a very long time~ which was great.. coz it actually woke me up... and then Jeff showed us the pictures he took when he went to Japan and China... he's so lucky... went to so many places in 1 holiday... After that i think i came to the realization that there was no way i coudl go back for lunch, so called mum that i'll be home before 3, We had leftovers for brunch, then Jeff and Mindy played time crisis,, then jeff was showing mindy the nokia downloading site or something, then we came back down and i showed jeff Kingdom heart.. hehe, i miss that game... the best rpg i have on my ps2 :P and at around 2:50 we left the house, lol, driving on a sunday is so cool, no cars.. i told mindy i was shocking at verging lanes on the motorway, and so she helped me look, and both times, there was like no cars :P
Anyway, dropped mindy off and then got home, and as expected, mum started this questioning thing.. 'what time did you say u were going to be home?, and what time is now??? " etc hhehehe and then i distracted her by telling how good i drove ( i have a slight fear of motorway) coz there was no car.. lol.. then i think... i was lying on my bed with mum, telling her about the sleepover. hehehe i guess it was mum's way of 'inspecting', i mean, even tho it's not the first time i had a sleepover at a guys' house, she probabily still not 100% ok with it. *shrug*, got a call from Len after that.. she asked me if i had a test coming up and i said yes, and then she was like.. "ok.. nvm" I felt a bit guilty that i coudlnt' go out with her, i know she was bored and wanted to hang out with someone, but a sleepover was all i coudl afford to do this weekend.. and the next time i'll be free is tuesday after my test.. and then after that?? who knows -____- y am i so busy... *sign* But i guess i really can't complain.. i had a great weekend. ^^
hehehe thank you to Jeff, nice enough to let us carry out our sleepover plan, heaps of organisation on his part even tho we kinda 'invited' ourself to the party at his place... lol, thanks to mike for finally agreeing to come ^^ we all know u r really busy, and it meant a lot to us that u came, oh~ and nice enough to watch 119 with us like 5 times... lol and the pasta was really nice~ hehehe the side-dish was as glamourous as the main (even tho the pot was very lumpy and black to wash.. lol) and to Mindy of course, our chef of the night... i mean.. she roasted the whole chicken... WOW~~ and it taste relaly really nice... without her there woudln't be a sleepover, but just a party? Anyway.. i had heaps and heaps of fun this weekend, and yes jeff i woudlnt' mind doign it again ^^ and i just spent the last 45 mins updating this blog it's not even funny. going to assignmenting now~ bye~
